The AEGON Breakfast Club is a new initiative which aims to give Edinburgh schoolchildren a healthy breakfast to start the day.
About Us
The AEGON Breakfast Club is an exciting new initiative which aims to give Edinburgh schoolchildren a healthy start to their day.
It is a three-way partnership between the Heart of Midlothian Education and Community Trust, the City of Edinburgh Council and AEGON.
The aim is to have a funded breakfast club operating in every primary school in the city by 2010.
Benefits & Support
Breakfast clubs are about more than just healthy eating. They improve attendance and concentration, as well as social skills. And they help children to get into good eating habits early on in life.
The help and support of local businesses will be essential to the success of the clubs with a range of unique opportunities to get involved.
